Seattle, WA

My career in aviation began after finishing college at Washington State University. My first year in the “real world” was sitting in a cubicle. I realized quickly this was not the life for me. I wanted something more out of every day.

A friend in college had gotten his pilots license and I always had some interest in aviation. While at a trade show I talked to a flight instructor about an intro flight. I was hooked before I got in the plane. Within a year I had moved on from my cubicle and was moving through my Commercial, CFII and MEI. At 250 hours (Commercial minimum) I spent five days taking five check-rides.

My first job as a flight instructor was at Galvin Flying. They had just got their first G1000 DA-40 so I spent as much time as I could learning the system. Galvin was one of the first to get a DA-42 FTD which gave me a great opportunity to teach the G1000 as well as the airplane.

In October 2006 I was chosen to go the Columbia factory and take acceptance and do the training on a 400 as Galvin was a sales representative. The next month Terry Brewer called and gave me the opportunity to come down and do some contract work. I continued contracting until June when I was offered a full time position. A few months after Cessna took over I was offered a position back in Seattle as Assistant Chief Pilot at Galvin. I took the position but soon realized I missed working closely with the owners. I had been thinking about starting a network with the highest quality for quite some time. I wanted to offer all the flight services necessary to make owning an airplane a turn-key operation.

Our philosophy and strategy is based on making ownership the celebration we believe it should be.  From EvoMX Maintenance Suppport to our unique training programs we are striving to do things better.  We believe the details will separate us and we will work hard demonstrating those details through the best customer service possible.

I hold a CFII, MEI  and am qualified through Cessna as a Cessna Fits Accepted Instructor. I am also part of the Cirrus Standardized Instructor Program. I have also been instructing as part of the Cessna Advanced Aircraft Re-current Training Program the last two years.
