The FAA has published its final ruling on AD 2012-01-11, effective on 29 February, 2012.  There have been reports of the air box seal being ingested into the turbocharger, obstructing airflow into the turbo charger and subsequently resulting in at least a partial loss of manifold pressure.  The AD published requires inspection and modification of the air box flange and installation of a new seal.  According to the AD, only 67 aircraft are affected.  Again, this only applies to the SR22T, not to be confused with turbo normalized SR22.  The FAA estimates costs of under $400 per operator, but most of these should be covered under warranty.

This AD forces compliance with previously published Cirrus SB 2X-71-17 R1.
